Investigators from Cameroon and Cambodia receive training in sero-neutralization techniques

General Interest

Description

October 2024

PICREID investigators from the Centre Pasteur du Cameroun and the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge are in Japan for training in sero-neutralization techniques at Hokkaido University – International Joint Research Institute for Zoonotic Diseases (IIZC). This opportunity was made possible by funding from the AMED/ASPIRE program, and will focus on neutralization assays and production of VSV-based pseudotyped viruses. This training aligns with the PICREID and CREID goal of capacity building, enabling the investigators to implement these techniques at their laboratories in Cambodia and Cameroon in order to validate test results in the framework of research conducted in the PICREID project.
